Love the organic produce & other foods at Kimberton. I've been looking for organic almond milk without all the preservatives and I found it at Kimberton. Gerry, the manager is always accommodating. If I can't find something I want, she makes sure to order it for me. The store is very clean and always stocked with everything I need! All of the employees are so friendly & helpful. I'm always greeted with a hello & a smile. My favorite place to shop for my family!

I am surprised by the negative reviews. I have always found the staff busy, but helpful. Yes, it's a tiny store with a huge variety of products to keep stocked. Yes, it can be crowded. The quality of the products from meat and produce, dairy, staples are excellent. What's more they have a remarkable variety of locally produced ready to eat meals. Kimberton is my go to grocery store.
So, I eyed this grocery store one evening on the drive to my boyfriend's house. I never saw it before or ever even heard of it, but I wrote down the name so I could try it one day. I am so glad that I got to shop here this evening for my groceries for this week. I will say that despite the two downsides to the store, I think that this is actually one of the best grocery stores I've ever been to in my life. Let's start with the obvious. The store is really very small and the selection is obviously not going to be as large as your national chain Whole Foods grocery store (which I believe has no relationship with this grocery store). I found myself wishing very badly that there was more produce to choose from. That isn't to say that the selection is bad. It really is not the smallest selection I've seen by any means, and it appears that most if not everything is organic. But I just wish I had more organic and locally-sourced options to choose from. The second problem is that this store is located almost in the middle of nowhere. It also seems that some of their other locations are also in towns of a very small population of people. If it weren't so far from my house, I would absolutely come back here regularly. I wouldn't say that I would come every week since it is obvious that higher quality products will cost more and thus sometimes not be as affordable. But, this store is worth returning to. Now that that is out of the way, let me just say that the majority of the grocery items offered here are obviously of much better quality than the items offered at many typical grocery stores. Being that a lot of the stuff is organic, locally-sourced, etc., this makes sense. It's hard to find some types of expeller pressed, organic oils at regular grocery stores, but this place has a great selection. And given the quality of the products, it can be hard to believe that some of the sales here are ridiculously good. I browsed the online catalog before coming here, and compared prices of dozens and dozens of the sale items offered here to other retailers and to Amazon. At least for the sale items, the prices were exceptionally good. For example, I bought a can of SafeCatch tuna and Wild Planet tuna at another large chain grocery store just yesterday. These items were at least $1 more per can at the national chain than at Kimberton Whole Foods. These high quality canned tunas were on sale here. I loved my experience at Kimberton Whole Foods, and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is interested in diversifying their pantry and their fridge. As a side note, I didn't find as much organic, pasture-raised meat and animal products as I expected. There was a decent amount of organic meat and organic, free range meat (along with other dairy products), but I would have loved more pasture-raised stuff. Nonetheless, you can't beat Kimberton Whole Foods if you're looking for top notch products, have an interest in healthier eating, care about the ethics of the meat and dairy you consume, etc. I will be back!
Simply put, the best local Whole Foods market in upper Bucks County. Great selection of locally sourced, organic produce and dairy products. Hard-to-find dairy-free options for those with eating sensitivity. Enormous healthy snack food (oxymoron...??) selection. And a wide variety of health and wellness supplements and goods plus tons of other amazing products. And let's not forget the knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff that welcomes you the minute you walk in the store! You can feel the positive vibes. Everything is fresh. Anything that can be prepared on site, is. If you're curious about an item, the staff will assist you or possibly have samples. Just an awesome place! . And prices are within reason!
